“Ideas worth spreading.” — TED slogan
Purpose
The purpose of these Voyageurs TED Talks workshops are to inspire and trigger meaningful conversations that relate to Leadership, Nutrition and Mental Health.
Who Runs Voyageurs TED Talk Tuesdays?
This is a student-lead program within Campus Recreation Department. The head coordinator is Haley Price and assistant coordinator is Michael Cameron.
What to expect
We believe Leadership, Nutrition, Mental Health are top priorities on students minds and feel as though discussing these topics in a forum such as TED Talk Tuesdays, students will leave each session learning:
- a bit more about the world and thought-leaders in the world,
- learn more about your voice and thoughts,
- build off your experiences and expand your perspective
These talks create many fun conversations, even "aha" moments and breakthroughs for students who want to reach the next level in their University experience.
Why? Much can be learned from the talks; I was personally and pleasantly surprised. Moreover it is thoroughly enjoyable to discuss them afterwards with friends and everyone who has attended. I highly recommended stopping by as it is free!
